TXM Article Features in Australia China Connections Magazine

TXM Managing Director, Tim Mclean and China Consulting Director, Justin Tao recently teamed up to provide an article for the June/July 2013 issue of popular China-focused magazine, Australia-China Connections. The article discusses the challenges of trying to achieve change in a Chinese cultural context and ways to overcome these challenges. The article is the first in a series of articles by TXM to appear in Australia China Connections over the next year. The next TXM article will be in the October/November issue.

TXM Customer – Ronson Gears wins the 2013 Endeavour Awards Enterprise Connect Significant Achievement Award

A highlight of Austech 2013 was learning that one of our customers, Ronson Gears, was the winner of the Enterprise Connect Significant Achievement Award at the annual Endeavour Awards. The award recognised for implementation of lean manufacturing that directly lead to increase in sales exports and productivity. Ronson is a manufacturer of high quality metal gears and has worked with TXM Senior Consultant over the course of 2012 to implement a lean production system.

Austech 2013 – Record Show For TXM – Total Excellence Manufacturing

TXM celebrated the milestone of exhibiting at our fifth Austech/National Manufacturing Week show with record numbers visiting our stand at the Austech 2013 Exhibition in Melbourne last month. Almost 200 manufacturers from a huge range of Industries across Australia visited the TXM stand over the four days. Manufacturers facing a high dollar, high wages and rising energy costs are continuing to look to lean manufacturing as a way to stay competitive and grow their business in challenging times.

TXM Achieves Lead Time Breakthrough for Beckers Guangzhou

Beckers Group is a leading global manufacturer of high quality industrial coatings. TXM has worked with Beckers over the past two years to use lean manufacturing techniques to improve their lead time and reduce their inventory. Beckers now can consistently offer the best service in the market with a 60% reduction in lead time from their previous level. Even better the reduced lead time has allowed Beckers to reduce their inventory by 50%.

TXM Lean Solutions at Austech 2013 in Melbourne

TXM will once again be represented at Stand 501 at Austech 2013 in the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from 7 to 10 May 2013.Visitors will be given the opportunity to discuss their lean manufacturing needs with TXM. We will be showcasing the recently launched online store that provides many of the key visual tools needed to improve the lean production systems and assist with managing routine daily tasks, problem solving and planning production. Greg Boek Joins the TXM Lean Consulting Team in Australia

TXM is pleased to welcome Greg Boek to our Australian Lean Consulting team as a Senior Lean Consultant after a successful career implementing lean thinking in some of the world’s leading Automotive manufacturing and component companies. Greg led the lean implementation at Autoliv Australia which was a Toyota Australia lean benchmark supplier.

TXM China Lean Consulting Team Expands

Following growth of the TXM business in 2012, TXM has expanded its consulting team in China. TXM is pleased to welcome James Chen and Richard Zeng to the TXM lean consulting team team in China. James has more than 10 years of continuous improvement experience and has specialized in lean system implementation as well as 6 Sigma and TPM.
