Greg Boek Joins the TXM Lean Consulting Team in Australia

TXM is pleased to welcome Greg Boek to our Australian Lean Consulting team as a Senior Lean Consultant after a successful career  implementing lean thinking in some of the world’s leading Automotive manufacturing and component companies. Greg led the lean implementation at Autoliv Australia which was a Toyota Australia lean benchmark supplier.  During this time he worked closely with TMCA Toyota’s Production System (TPS) specialists to set up a pilot lean show case in the plant before managing the implementation of lean throughout the entire value stream.  Later Greg was also the Autoliv Production System (APS) manager in Thailand and upon returning to Australia was integral in the initial implementation of lean into the office environment.  Autoliv was acknowledged as a benchmark lean company in Australia.

Greg commenced his manufacturing career at Ford working in process engineering and later in line and materials control supervision.  During this time the plant underwent Q1 Certification which involved major implementation of SPC and training and execution of problem solving techniques.

In recent years Greg managed the Australian automotive glass business for a large global corporation, and spent several years working in the USA managing major accounts and leading a large global development project.

Based in Melbourne, at TXM Greg will be a Senior Lean Consultant working on major projects across Australia.
