TXM to run an AME Lean Agriculture Learning Day at Kinross Farm – October 16th

The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) will be running a one day interactive Lean Daily Leadership Process workshop at egg producer, Kinross Farm in Kinglake West on October 16th. TXM Consulting Director, Anthony Clyne will facilitate the workshop which will provide participants with an opportunity to see the excellent Lean Daily Leadership systems that have been implemented at Kinross Farm as well as learn how to apply these simple and powerful techniques in their own business. The Lean Daily Leadership Process is a simple and practical system of daily management that focuses front line leaders and teams on driving continual improvement in business performance.

The workshop also highlights the growing acceptance of Lean Agriculture, the use of Lean techniques in intensive agricultural businesses. For Kinross the benefits of Lean has gone beyond the packing hall in to improve animal husbandry for the thousands of hens in Kinross’ care. Therefore the workshop will coach participants on Lean Agriculture and how to apply Lean techniques in an agricultural setting as well as providing manufacturers in food and other industries practical coaching in the Lean Daily Leadership Process.
